Central Camera is Chicago's oldest camera store. Opened in 1899 by Hungarian immigrant Albert Flesch, the store's history is essentially a living history of the medium itself. It moved to its current location on Wabash in the South Loop in 1929, and today is 3rd-generation family-owned.
