An iconic staple that lines the streets of Chicago, most of which were constructed between 1890 through the 1930s, the Greystone features a limestone exterior harvested from quarries near Bedford, IN. Look closely at this print, Chicago-based collage artist, Catherine Elizabeth, exclusively uses upcycled newspaper to form the image. No paint or dyes. Created with over 100 individually hand-cut and torn pieces found in ads, pictures, and comics, her art exists to tell stories and preserve memories.
