A favorite of many Chicagoans, the Garfield Park Conservatory is a true oasis within the city. This large-format silkscreen print captures the magic of the Fern House, home to the cycads: ancient cone-bearing plants, ferns, and fern allies. Many of these plants are considered primitive plants, or members of plant groups that grew during the age of the dinosaurs, about 300 million years ago.

Five-color screenprint on posterweight stock. Signed and limited second edition.
