Ever notice those darling “Home Sweet Home” pillows at Neighborly? This Saturday, you can meet the woman behind that design and many more as we welcome Krissy Callahan of Earth Cadets! She’ll be our House Guest for the afternoon from 2-6pm and will bring her complete collection of goods including pillows, totes, onesies and t-shirts (and even some new releases!).
Krissy has a great small business story: she started her design and printing operation in her basement several years ago with a commitment to earth-friendly materials and fun, cheeky designs. She was able to devote herself full-time to Earth Cadets in 2011 and moved it out of the basement and into an official studio space just this spring. Come meet Krissy and ask her about her products and her business!
We’ll also have snacks from the new cafe in the neighborhood, River Valley Farmer’s Table, and will be sharing some green home cleaning tips to help with spring cleaning and to celebrate upcoming Earth Day.
