Give & Get FAQ's

Welcome to Neighborly's Give & Get Customer Rewards Program! For every $300 you spend at Neighborly, you earn a $15 credit to spend at Neighborly and we donate $15 to a local non-profit. Please contact knock@neighborlyshop.com to enroll. To be sure your points are added to your account, you will need to use the same email address you use for Give & Get as when you checkout online at neighborlyshop.com, or mention it at checkout in-store.

Neighborly selects a different local non-profit local each quarter to support with our Give & Get Program. In 2021, we are supporting Sarah's CircleChicago HouseFamily Matters, and The Friendship Center

How do I check if I'm enrolled or see how many points I have?
To check enrollment or point totals online, you can create an account on our webshop using the same email address that you used when you signed up for Give & Get. Once you're logged in you should see a purple "Give and Get Customer Rewards" button on your Account page. Click it to view your point total. If you don’t know what email address you enrolled with, just ask us and we can email you a convenient link to click to create an account. 

To check enrollment or points in-store, simply ask us at checkout.

If you recently signed up in-store, it may take us a couple weeks to add you to our system. If you want to check in about enrollment or want to make a purchase in the mean time, just ask us.

What if I forget to mention Give & Get when I check out?
We can add your purchase to your account within one year from your date of purchase. Send us an email with your order number, or your name, the date of your purchase, and the items you purchased. 

What counts toward my Give & Get spend total?
The subtotal of any purchase counts toward your spend total - taxes and shipping are excluded, as well any purchases made at off-site events, with store credit, or with gift cards are all excluded. If you purchase a gift card, it will NOT count toward your spend total. When you redeem a gift card, it WILL count toward your spend total (an extra gift for the recipient!).

What if I make a purchase on your webshop?
Purchases from our webshop count toward your spend total. You will need to create an account on our webshop using the same email address that you used when you signed up for Give & Get. If you don’t know what email address you enrolled with, just ask us and we can email you a convenient link to click to create an account. After you’ve checked out, send us a quick email letting us know about your purchase so we can double check that the purchase was added correctly to your account. 

Is the only way to increase my spend total by making a purchase?
No! We've already added one way to increase your ‘spend total’ (or earn ‘points’ so to say) by referring a friend to Give & Get (just tell them to write your name on their sign up sheet when they sign up. You'll both earn 50 extra points!). You can also earn 20 points by following us on Instagram. We’ll send more special ways to earn points in the future as well! 

How will I know when I have earned a store credit?
Our system will send you an email after you hit the $300 threshold and have earned your reward. The email will come from rewards@customer-mail.smile.io. You may want to add the email address as a "safe sender" so it does not get filtered into spam. The email will contain a discount code that you can redeem in-store or online. If you’re ever wondering if you have a reward, just send us an email or ask us next time you’re in the shop.

What can I redeem my store credit for?
Your store credit can be redeemed for any purchase greater than the amount of the store credit. Because of the limitation of our reward system, the entire store credit needs to be spent at one time and cannot be used to pay taxes or shipping costs.

What if I no longer wish to be enrolled in Give & Get? 
Send an email to knock@neighborlyshop.com that you would like to remove your enrollment.

Am I a member for life? 
Sorry but if you have not had a purchase at Neighborly within the last two years, we will send you an email notifying you of your possible un-enrollment. If we do not hear back within two weeks that you'd like to keep your membership, you will be un-enrolled from the program. If you had existing store credit, it will expire 6 months following your un-enrollment.
