House Guest: Nourishing Notes

House Guest: Nourishing Notes

Hey Neighbors! We’ll really excited to announce a new event series called “House Guests” that will be starting at Neighborly on Saturday, June 15th. We’ll be recognizing and celebrating the amazing, talented people behind the beautiful products that help make Neighborly the shop that it is.

Our first House Guests are Chicago’s own duo, Julie and Andy from Nourishing Notes! From greeting cards to kitchen towels to letterpress prints, Nourishing Notes’ goods use type, illustration, and beautiful colors that make foodies around the world salivate over their witty products.

Stop by June 15th from 3-7pm  to:
> see the shop overhauled with Nourishing Notes goods
> meet Julie and Andy
> shop their products, including new releases!
> enjoy refreshments, some homemade by Julie herself

In true Neighborly fashion, a portion of the evening’s sales will be donated to Nourishing Notes’ non-profit of choice, Purple Asparagus.

Started in 2007, Nourishing Notes combines a passion for food and laughter with high quality design, illustration, type, and craft. One joke about a lamb shank quickly turned into the very first greeting card, which led to a crash course in letterpress printing, which in turn led to a full line of stationery, kitchen towels, art prints, and more.
