Thank you for stopping by Make Something Sunday, where we post a new craft every Sunday from our favorite DIY bloggers! We want to inspire you to create at home with simple and fun crafts. Let's get started!
This week we are featuring a craft from Kristin of Bliss Makes. Kristin resides in Las Vegas and making is her meditation. She loves to create in many different ways, including making funky, unique home decor and recipe testing. Today we are making Kristin's Mudcloth Paint Pen Glasses. This craft is so easy and inexpensive. We love the look of the geometric shapes seen on mudcloth. For this craft you will need oil based pens, a glass vessel to paint, rubbing alcohol, Q-tips, and access to an oven. The glass requires "baking" in the oven after painting in order to set your design and make it permanent. Oil based pens are easy to find at your local craft store or on Amazon. Look for pens labeled "Glass Paint Marker."
Along with Kristin's glasses, we think it would be cute to add the mudcloth design to a vase, glass serving bowl, or even our Recycled Wine Bottle Glass Canisters ($14-$16 each) sold here at Neighborly. Anything that you think needs a little extra design!
We would love to see your take on this craft! Tag us on social media with the handles below and #makesomethingsunday and we’ll send you a code for $5 off at the shop (one per person)! Happy crafting and don’t forget to come back next Sunday for our next craft or sign up for our Make Something Sundays email list and we’ll send you an email every time we post a new craft!
