More on Makers: FoundRe

foundre_topFoundRe takes its name to heart, creating unique, handmade frames and furniture from pieces of the past. Sourcing their wood from local deconstruction projects and using old growth lumber found in many of Chicago’s historic buildings, FoundRe’s frames not only serve as the vehicle to tell your stories, but those of the rich culture of Chicago’s architecture and history. Owner Raun Meyn says, “Every piece of furniture and framing we create is treated like a work of art. We take pride in providing quality reclaimed furniture, with a focus on detail and design.”

One-of-a-kind charm meets a clean, modern finish in these handcrafted frames. We love them as the perfect addition to a favorite print, a cherished photo, or a thoughtful card. Our in-store array of colors and sizes lend themselves to virtually any decor.
